Data Collection
ChinaAI Access is an informational website with an optional model evaluation playground. We do not currently require user accounts or passwords. When you use the site, we may process basic technical data such as IP address, user agent, requested URL, timestamps, language preference, theme preference, and error or performance logs. If you contact us by email, we process the information you choose to send.
Playground Data
When you use the playground, your selected model names, prompts, generated responses, and related request metadata may be sent to our server and to third-party inference providers such as OpenRouter and the underlying model providers needed to generate the response. We do not intentionally store playground prompts or responses in a user account database, but third-party providers may process or retain data under their own policies. Do not submit confidential, sensitive, regulated, or personal information in playground prompts.
Rate Limiting
To prevent abuse and control API cost, we may use IP-based rate limiting. If rate limiting is enabled, your IP address or a rate-limit key derived from it may be processed by infrastructure providers such as Upstash Redis.
Cookies and Tracking
This site may use cookies, local storage, or similar technologies for language preference, theme settings, analytics, and advertising. We may use Google AdSense or similar advertising services, which can set cookies or process device and browsing data to measure ads, prevent fraud, and personalize or contextualize advertising depending on your region and consent settings. We do not sell personal information ourselves.

This site contains links to third-party AI provider websites, documentation, advertising networks, analytics providers, cloud providers, and API gateways. Once you leave our site or use a third-party-powered feature, you are subject to that provider's privacy policy. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of external services.
Data Retention
We retain operational logs only as long as reasonably needed for security, debugging, abuse prevention, analytics, and compliance. Third-party providers may retain data according to their own policies and infrastructure requirements.
